In general, you can visit us on the World Wide Web without disclosing to us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are several areas, however, that will collect certain information about you and we want you to know how we handle that information.

If you visit our website, First Priority Federal Credit Union collects and stores information on the domain you use to access our website, the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to the site, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to measure the number of visitors to the various pages on our site to better serve our membership.

If you send an e-mail, First Priority Federal Credit Union collects and stores personally identifying information in order to process your e-mail, form or application. This information is not sold to any nonaffiliated third parties. Due to the volume of e-mail activity, these messages are deleted after they are answered or completed.

If you visit a secure site such as the First Priority Federal Credit Union's home-banking site, you will be asked for personal identification numbers which will give you access to the member only section of our website. Internet Security

At First Priority Federal Credit Union, we've safeguarded member's money for more than 75 years. On-line banking is no exception. We're taking all the necessary precautions -and more- to assure your accounts are safe. And, that no one has access to accounts but you and anyone you authorize.

Encryption. For more protection, First Priority Federal Credit Union uses a process called "Secure Sockets Layer" (SSL) encryption to secure your on-line banking sessions. SSL encryption turns all Internet communications between you and First Priority Federal Credit Union -from your password to your money transfer requests- into a string of unrecognizable numbers. Only First Priority Federal Credit Union and your computer can decode the information. This process safeguards your on-line banking sessions from intruders.

Your Personal Information. The applications we accept on-line as well as our home banking site require the use of industry standard secure SSL browsers.

E-Mail. Regular non-encrypted e-mail is not secure. Accordingly, you should exercise caution regarding e-mails that are not sent through our website's "Contact Us" pages.

Privacy Matters Relating to "Links"

If you link to another site from any of our pages, you are leaving our site pages, and we cannot be held responsible for any information that may be gathered at a linked site.
